2010

The beginnings

Our parent company, Cleversteam, was founded to build large-scale, custom CRM systems for companies offering Summer Work and Travel programs around the world. Our vision was to build high-quality business systems that would allow companies to scale their exchange programs.

2013

Concept

Building on our experience in international exchange, many of companies we encountered were trying to run their complex programs using spreadsheets, shared folders and email. It was clear that an out-of-the-box CRM system would help these companies to simplify, automate and grow. 
This led to the concept for Hanover, a system that would simplify and automate the complicated process of international exchange across all of the different program types.

2014

Hanover v1.0 launches

The first version of Hanover was a long way away from what it is today, but it marked the start of our journey. 
We've been working tirelessly to listen to our client's feedback and constantly improve and create innovative features to the platform.

2020

Revolutionising international exchange through technology

Today, Hanover processes over 350,000 participants every year in over 30 countries worldwide.
We've taken our 10 years of experience in international exchange and used it to create a system that continues to attract companies offering all types of inbound and outbound programs. 
We place a high value on innovation and automation, our mission is to revolutionise the experience of international exchange through technology for everyone involved.
